I've always been a city girl. When I got to college, there was so much green...grass and trees. I actually didn't even like to walk on the grass. And bugs? I'd run screaming! But over time, I've come to like the great outdoors. Er, still no camping for me....but I now enjoy canoeing, mountain bikes (on relatively flat trails please), and hiking...just putting some muscles to use while enjoying the sun. There's so much beauty in nature, why get cabin fevered in a brick and concrete plastered apartment?

And I'm glad I warmed up to the outdoors with the help of my hubby....
